Firstly I'd like to apologise to Jess from the EKG... she is a top lass and I'm sorry for offending her. Now the good stuff...
LET'S ALL CLUB MAFRO...
With sticks and bats...
NEXT CLUB MAFRO.... the Biggy... we have the beer skate punks 4 FT FINGERS coming to visit us on Thursday 28th November!! 4 Ft Finger are signed to Golf Records, also home to Less Than Jake, the Mighty Mighty Bosstones and Snuff. You can access their website by going to www.4ftfingers.com. Come check this amazing band out, entry is only £4, and we are proud to say we have 2 wicked support bands added in to the bargain! ONE DAY ELLIOTT, the 'Tunesmiths' from Maidstone grace us with their prescence, the are currently on some kind of tour (I dunno) with some shitty band called Morgan's Puff Adder... we also have 3 DB'S DOWN from Gravesend, who excel at the poppier side of ska-punk. This will be a good night, don't miss out on the fun!

So whats it all about then...?
It's about crazy videos, afro's and competitions. All profit goes straight back to the bands. And there will be some kind of discount for anyone who wears an afro.
OK, so Club Mafro has been going for some while now, we have had some wicked bands play, but this is not just it! We wanna put on a nice big XMAS gig (yes it is that time of year again) and wanna know who you wanna see play! This may be the last Club Mafro for a while, as the Beacon is closing for 3 months whilst they get all refurbed up, but then after that, we will be back with more ska punk tomfoolery madness. |
